European logistics still has more routes than drivers. India is a source market, not a miracle: licences, language, and the destination’s visa class decide whether a file moves. A licensed agent’s job is to screen for those constraints before you spend on a work permit.
What to put in the brief
- Licence class you will accept, and whether you will convert an Indian HMV to a local C/CE.
- Language — English-only versus German or Croatian at joining.
- ADR, tachograph, or warehouse-only (picker, forklift) if this is not a trunking seat.
- Accommodation and roster pattern. Drivers who discover the roster after landing leave.
J&A lists HGV seats into Germany and warehouse/logistics into Bulgaria among current openings. Those are different jobs. Do not combine them in one line of a spreadsheet.
Screening that saves the permit fee
Medical, licence authenticity, and a clean employment history belong in Kochi — not after the candidate has a ticket. Time-to-fill for skilled trades in Europe is already sitting near the SHRM six-week median; a failed visa at week five is a full restart.
Logistics groups and their local agencies can both mandate J&A. Name the end employer on the file. Drivers will ask.
Brief the desk
Role, seats, location, joining window. J&A will tell you if the corridor is live.
