Hiring nurses from Kerala for GCC hospitals

2026-08-07 · 6 min read · Hospital HR · Kerala → GCC

Gulf hospitals still hire Indian staff nurses in volume. Kerala is not the only source state, but it is one of the few with a deep, English-facing nursing pipeline and a 25-year placement habit into Kuwait and the wider GCC.

What a usable file looks like

A hospital mandate should state: grade (staff nurse, specialist, ICU), language, Dataflow / Prometric if you require them, joining window, and whether you will run medical in origin or destination. Vague “nurses needed” briefs produce slow shortlists.

  • Council registration and experience letters that match the ward you are staffing.
  • Passport validity and a clean medical path.
  • A counsellor who has run GCC files before — not a generalist CV shop.

Volume without dumping CVs

J&A currently lists live staff-nurse seats on the Kuwait corridor. The point of a licensed desk is not a spreadsheet of 400 names. It is a screened batch that can actually clear emigration and join on your roster date.

Employers who change the salary or the joining date mid-file should expect the shortlist to move. Say the commercial terms once, in the mandate.

Hospitals that brief grade, ward and joining month get nurses. Hospitals that brief “ASAP, good English” get delay.

Send the mandate through the employer form on this site, or speak to the Kochi desk. Nursing is a named sector — not a side product.

Brief the desk

Role, seats, location, joining window. J&A will tell you if the corridor is live.
